Maximising space

Most of us would like our bathrooms to be bigger than they are. However there are ways to get more from your space and to make it feel comfortable in use.

Redefining the bathroom Finding inspiration Functional planning Maximising space Next steps

Freelance showerbath and screens combine bathing and showering with comfort.

Hide away the clutter in carefully selected furniture and watch the room grow!
Washbasin cabinets have the dual benefit of concealing pipework as well as providing storage.
Wall hung washbasins, WCs and bidets create the impression of a bigger floor area and make cleaning easier. Semi-pedestals beneath washbasins conceal pipework.
Back-to-wall WCs mean that the cistern is hidden. The look is uncluttered and cleaning is easy.
Shower trays inset into the floor create a minimalist look, and when teamed with a clear glass KOHLER enclosure create the next best thing to a 'wet room'.
Quadrant and corner entry shower enclosures with centre opening double doors require less floor space than conventional shower doors.
Combine a shower enclosure and bath without compromising either and saving space at the same time. The Freelance shower bath combines both functions with comfort.
Many baths are not big enough for their users to bathe comfortably. A bow fronted bath, such as the KOHLER Simana minimises the wall usage whilst offering a bigger bathing area.
If your ideal is to have a corner bath but space is limited, consider an offset design like KOHLER Micromega. It makes better use of the space whilst still offering the rounded design.
Wall mounted taps require no basin or bath deck space, making for a clutter-free look.
Built-in shower valves hide away pipework, making showers more spacious and the design cleaner.
