You don’t need to look too far to find inspiration for your bath spaces…just look outside the window and nature’s wonders are aplenty. Architects Asra Khateeb and Aparna Mehra share unique ways to enhance the look of your private havens…
IDEA 1: Verdant Green
This space includes the use of jade onyx mixed with green matte tiles. We wanted to achieve a look that’s organic and natural, so we have used colours inspired by nature. Bringing green and brown into a bathroom was a huge shift from the regular design pattern but definitely turned out to be a masterpiece.
IDEA 2: Earthy Brown
This bathroom, designed like a spa-cum-washroom, was part of a large party pad. Alaska grey marble adorn the walls and give it a lavish look, while also in sync with the grey exposed RCC ceiling and limocoat textured walls in the outside space. The arch in the middle with handmade tiles gives it a hammam-like feel. We abstained from using the typical Turkish cobalt blue tiles, as we wanted a sense of visual softness. The wood ceiling mirrors the deck flooring give the space a cohesive wholesome look.
