Light, dark, bold or plain – blue is a colour that’s as versatile as any and can enhance the look of your bathroom and give it a special pop. Designers A+T Associates and MJ Architects share unique ways to use the azure to enhance the look of your private havens…
IDEA 1: Soft and Pastelly – Paired with Pink
This bathroom is for a client's young daughter. We wanted to provide her with a colourful and youthful vibe in her bedroom as well as her bathroom and dressing room, so this concept came into our mind. One thing to keep in mind while using pastels is that you should blend it with one mature colour, so the pastel shade has a chance to stand out. And remember never to use two or three pastel hues together!
IDEA 2: Sharp and Bold – Paired with Grey
This washroom was designed for an elderly couple that had their bedroom built with minimal to no use of colour. We added this pop of blue in their washroom to break the monotony and add a sense of drama. Moreover, every washroom must have that one highlight design element that sets it apart. This navy blue added a good combination of playfulness with class.
